The decor of The Heron's Rest Boutique Accommodation was absolutely lovely. The hotel had a charming and elegant atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were beautifully decorated and well-maintained, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The staff made sure that there were no stairs to climb, and the amenities were conveniently located on the ground level. It was such a relief not having to worry about navigating steep staircases or long hallways.

The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people would be a few more handrails throughout the hotel. Sometimes, it can be a bit challenging for us older folks to navigate unfamiliar surroundings, and having additional handrails would provide that extra support and safety.

stayed here on our visit to galway and herons rest was beyond amazing! the manager, sorcha, was so helpful and all her recommendations were spot-on. the townhouse was sparkling clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. the location, right on the long walk with a view of the water, was perfect. highly recommend!

The view from the apartment was amazing. I couldn't get enough of it! The location was also perfect, just a short walk to the city center. The owner was helpful, delivering the keys on time and providing us with extra towels when we needed them. The apartment itself was spacious, warm, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the bathroom was clean with a warm shower. I had a fantastic stay at Herons Rest Boutique Accommodation and would definitely recommend it to others.

The value for money at Herons Rest Boutique Accommodation was excellent; the room was well-appointed and had a picturesque harbor view. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the lively pub and shopping area. The staff, especially Martina the cook, were warm and friendly, going above and beyond to accommodate my needs.

Herons Rest Boutique Accommodation was just outstanding in every way. Sasha, our hostess, was very attentive and the location was perfect. We parked our car for three days and walked everywhere. the views from the third-floor skylight were breathtaking, and the kitchen was fully stocked. the apartment had everything we needed and the rooms were comfortable. The docks area was just a few minutes away from the city center. Cons: Couldn't fault it at all! 🙌.

We were able to walk to restaurants and shops easily. The house itself was beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The owner was also amazing, providing us with helpful information and serving a delicious breakfast every morning. The view from the window was amazing and the heating kept us warm throughout our stay. we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place.

No TVs in the property, and breakfast and parking were overpriced. Appliances had issues - missing labels on the oven, hard-to-access clothes washer/dryer, and awkwardly placed microwave.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within walking distance. The hotel also offered secure parking, very convenient. The views from our room were fine, overlooking the river and providing a beautiful backdrop. The staff were really good, always friendly and accommodating. They even helped us make reservations at local restaurants. The hotel facilities were great, with a well-stocked kitchen and the option for breakfast brought to our room. The cleanliness of the hotel was also excellent, with everything super clean and well-maintained.

The location was fantastic - right on the waterfront with a view of the water. Everything was walkable and we even had a seal greeting us upon arrival. The owner was amazing, offering plenty of information and the breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfortable and the heating kept us nice and warm. a wonderful experience.
